Walton County ARES needs your help.
We are a group of volunteer (HAM) Amateur Radio Operators that give our time and services to our Community in times of need. Currently we serve the Walton County Emergency Management providing communication service when called upon. If disaster strikes and infrastructure is impacted by overloaded cell towers, downed power lines and no internet service – We get the message through “When All Else Fails”. To do this our radio equipment needs to be upgraded and maintained or replaced. This includes computers, coax cables and connectors as well as the transceivers and antennas all require upkeep most of which is from our own volunteer’s pocket. Please help us help you and our community by providing the funds needed to stay operational and provide necessary communications. Your donation is very much appreciated.
